Puerto Galera, Part III: There's something about the summer that makes me moody

(The title is from a Best Coast song, Summer Mood <3 It's not summertime but it's such a beach-y song.)

After a morning full of activities, we decided to relax by hitting the beach and try out the waters. It was a brilliant, sunny day, perfect for taking a swim.

There were a group of women sitting in the shade offering massages for around P200-250, an offer which we accepted. I asked my masseuse not to massage my feet because I'm ticklish: the one time I had a foot massage, I ended up covering my face to keep from laughing out loud. Anyway, it's still a full-body massage, and I crossed one thing off my list.

The rest of the afternoon was spent lounging around the shore, waiting for the sun to set, but we were too hungry to wait for sundown so we just took photos of it still in the sky lol

My mom, you guys. I'm waiting for the "you and your mom look so alike!" comment.

~chillin'~

The place really is gorgeous. I half-wished I could live there and see this every day—but then, I wouldn't be able to appreciate this view.

I couldn't believe we'd be leaving this island paradise the next day, but all good things have to come to an end. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to explore a place I've never been to before.
